Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Marcelix stores, why it is needed, how it is used, and what choices you have.
Account information. When you create an account, Marcelix stores your email address, display name, username, and authentication credentials. You may optionally add a profile bio, avatar, and banner image.
Generated content. Marcelix stores the prompts you submit, the images and videos generated from those prompts, and any posts, comments, or templates you publish.
Reference images. If you upload a reference image to guide a generation, Marcelix processes it only to apply style direction for that request. Reference images are not stored permanently, shared with other users, or used for facial recognition or identity matching.
Purchase and billing data. When you purchase a credit pack, Marcelix records the transaction amount, credit pack purchased, order identifiers, and payment status. Payment card details are handled entirely by the third-party payment processor and are never stored on Marcelix servers.
Platform activity. Marcelix stores follow relationships, saved posts, votes, direct messages, notification history, and moderation reports to operate the product features you use.
Creator Rewards data. If you participate in the optional Creator Rewards program, Marcelix stores your reward balance and transaction history related to reward activity.
Marcelix uses your information to: operate your account and deliver purchased credits; process image and video generation requests; display your public posts and profile to other users; operate social features such as follows, comments, votes, and messages; process credit pack purchases and refund requests; enforce content moderation and the Acceptable Use Policy; communicate important account or product updates; and operate the optional Creator Rewards program for participating creators.
Marcelix uses third-party infrastructure to operate the platform. This includes cloud hosting, database services, payment processing, AI model providers for image and video generation, and optional analytics. These providers process data only as needed to perform their functions and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes. Marcelix does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing.
Marcelix retains your account data and generated content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, Marcelix removes your profile, private generations, and personal data within a reasonable period. Some data may be retained longer where required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, billing records, or to resolve disputes.
You may access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with applicable data protection laws, you may have additional rights including the right to request data portability or to object to certain processing. Marcelix uses essential cookies to maintain your login session and store user preferences. Marcelix may also use analytics tools to understand how the platform is used. No advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels are used.
Marcelix may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the platform or by email. Continued use of Marcelix after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
